The manager of Young Driver in Bristol, a man called Mark, did something very kind today. Something not in his job description! Rescuing teddy rabbit from a bus stop roof.
Jen was getting bored whilst his big brother D was driving today. So Jen started throwing his Rabbit about, pretending he was skydiving (ok, my fault) then Rabbit ends up on the roof! I had to explain to the Goodyear Manager what had happened. Luckily he’s got some initiative and has children himself.
He got a step ladder and a broom. About 5 mins later Jen was using his Rabbit as a football again. *sigh*
That is amazing service in my opinion, and had to tell you all.
D has had two one-hour lessons today. The first was in a red SEAT Ibiza, second time a grey one as the red one has had a steering issue, which my son may or may not have caused!
I’m very confident in their staff’s ability as I sat in on last weeks lesson. That instructor was called Adrian and was a perfect mix of professional and comical sarcasm. He put me and my son at ease, laughing at mistakes and not being too serious or strict.
Today was with Pete, on both lessons. He’s calm and patient and kind.
The “office” staff are great too! I said office in quotes as it’s a routemaster bus!
