Movie night at Gracewell*

advertising This evening we had a family film night thanks to Gracewell* Healthcare. The four of us on the sofa, with the fire on, watching Paddington.

movie night

Pies, popcorn, retro sweets and a dvd.

Although most parents I know have seen Paddington I hadn’t. There were a few belly laughs, and we were almost crying from laughing so hard at some points. I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting the boys to like it whilst us grown ups would be bored stiff. NOPE!

I swear if the popcorn had been munched at the wrong point in the film one of us would have choked. So funny.
Gracewell Healthcare have recently had a bit of a relaunch and want to make things better for their residents. Things such as the Movie nights are part of their 5-point personalised care plan*. They actually encourage resident’s families to join in with activities. When I was a kid I used to visit older family in care homes and they were not welcoming places. Gracewell Healthcare aren’t like the ones I remember, a new resident will get lots of choices when they move in, including their choice of bedroom wallpaper.

Anyway, back to the film, if you haven’t seen it check out the trailer here and order it immediately.

Disclosure : This post is in collaboration with Gracewell Healthcare. The words and opinions are my own. They supplied the film and snacks.
