Review of the Ozeri duo salt and pepper grinder 4

I received this product a while back now, but was unsure what to write.
The Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt and Pepper Grinder* looks brilliant on the kitchen table, and is a real space saver. The RRP is high at £29.99 but can be found on Amazon now at £9.95. If I was to pay a tenner for this it’s good, but for Thirty pounds I would have been very disappointed. It is a fabulous idea, yet it doesn’t quite seem to “work” somehow.

The grinder is quite attractive.

The grinder is quite attractive.

The bottom of the grinder is the stand, but also the funnel for filling the mills. This means you can’t lose the base, so it gets put back on to the grinder, but then I have to remind my children to remove the base before use.

Another issue is children pick it up by the top, and as this is removable for when you refill the mills the top can come off in the kids hands. This led to an awkward situation where my son had a plateful of rock salt and whole peppercorns.

I like the grinder but I must be honest and suggest it is not a fabulous idea for families with smaller children. For a household without smaller kiddies, brilliant.

The grinder in use.

I want to write “yes its perfect” as I don’t like writing less positive reviews but I am too honest. Everyone has different opinions, but Blokey was also not so keen. I have linked to other reviews of this item below if you fancy a different perspective.

Disclosure: I received this grinder free in return for an honest review. This post contains Amazon affiliate links.
