This is so bad for you, but awesome anyway. I am not responsible for any weight gain caused by this post. š
My Blokey is a foodie. He likes to experiment, not exactly Heston Blumenthal crazy, but its good!
Today he’s made something that looks like scotch eggs, but its far from boring savoury snackage. This is food porn.
The approximate recipe is in Blokey’s own words.
Take 4 creme eggs, 250g of Madeira cake, 4 tablespoons of strawberry jam and some desiccated coconut.
Crumble the cake into a bowl. Melt the jam and add two thirds to the cake. Mix it together till it forms a ball.
Divide the cake mixture into 4. Flatten it out and wrap it round a creme egg. Brush the outside with the rest of the jam then roll in the coconut. Leave to set then eat. These will be dessert after dinner tonight
Jealous? I know you are, but I am not sharing. Sorry!
Oh wow they look so nice. I’m not sure if I could finish a whole one but I’d definitely try!!
They look so yummy but I do not like creme eggs so I shall let you keep them for your birthday tomorrow – if you haven’t already eaten them all.

OMG What a great idea! Thank you! Wooooo!
Looks delicious! I made chocolate fondants and stuck mini creme eggs in the centre on Easter Sunday, they definitely should feature in more desserts
Ooh delicious. Ingenious as well.
