Easter

5 Easter movies worth watching*

This Easter weekend why not snuggle up with the family on the sofa and watch some Easter themed films on a Panasonic Viera tv. These all feature bunnies or Easter traditions. Do you have favourite Easter films or TV shows? Hop. The first film on my list is a modern classic. It is a brilliantly funny film, with both animation and live action. It has bunny rabbits, Easter chicks, lots of chocolate and seasonal fun. Oh and jelly beans are rabbit poop…..

Easter extravaganza giveaway 19

Happy March. I’m sure you know Easter is on the way, which means buying chocolate, sweets or bonnet and chick related crafts. I’ve had eggs for my lads since early February, so at least I’ll avoid the rush. So what can you win in our Easter extravaganza? Would you believe it one lucky winner will be walking away with a fantastic £200 worth of Amazon vouchers, while one runner up will get £20, to spend on whatever they want – but chocolate seems like a good idea at this time of year. (If the winner is from a country other than the UK the prize will be delivered via PayPal cash).

Defrauding charity #FoodBanks 10

Today the Daily Mail / Mail on Sunday paper is the most hated thing on the internet after the article by Ross Slater, closely followed by that big brother woman. You must have read this today? About the lying reporter wasting time and stealing food? Michelle from Crowther Clan blog wrote this post earlier. A well worded moan at the Daily Mail, which I recommend reading. Also Mummy Glitzer wrote a brilliant blog post about food banks.

The Easter bunnies repair job 6

Over the winter Bart and Mo’s home was badly damaged. The roof bowed and bent under the weight of water in the storms, then sprung a leak. As you know I hate wasting things I was determined to repair not replace this hutch. It was all sound except the roof wood and felt. Luckily the wooden batoning around the roof was not damaged, which meant I could attach a new roof straight on it. I considered buying plywood and felt and doing it the classic bunny hutch way. Nah, too weak! I considered layered planks of wood, shed roof or chicken coop style, too draughty and needs regular varnishing to keep it water tight. Nope! The wood would cost around £20-30 depending on where was purchased.

Win (ended)- A beautiful pair of hare earrings from LaJewellery 24

When I saw that La Jewellery wanted to work with eco-conscious bloggers to run a competition for their readers I hopped jumped at the chance. La Jewellery make lovely items with good ethics and a consideration for the environment. What’s not to like?! Technically this lovely window display is full of hares, but I’m thinking bunnies – Easter Bunnies, and I am hoping the winner replies in two shakes of a rabbit’s tail (quick) so that the lovely prize will pop through your letter box before Easter. Lets face it, lovely jewellery is going to last longer than a chocolate egg or bunny.

Printables – half term crafty ideas 2

So it’s half term in most places, so these printables might come in handy for some “rainy day” fun. Click on any of the images to get the printable files. All images, except the last one (reef 2) are Copyright of Tiny Me. How about Valentines printables? I know, I’m a couple of days late on this one, sorry! Or if you’ve got some crayons and lolly sticks, make some finger puppets?

Thorntons The Snowman and Snowdog Chocolates

Bring a little bit of festive magic to someone special’s Christmas or New year with this extra-special range of choccy treats. The Snowman and Snowdog are favourite festive TV characters, and these gorgeous models are carefully crafted from Thorntons creamy white chocolate so won’t melt in the morning like snow but I can’t promise they’ll last too long as they are rather tasty!

Easter Games

My boys are larking around on the Kinect as it’s pretty chilly to play outside. This is their new game, Joy Ride. They have to steer by leaning, and waving arms around.  At least they are burning off the chocolate egg calories somehow. It’s funny to watch them though. Bruuuummm bruuummmmm!!!!
