Do you struggle to find gifts for your doggy or moggies? As Freya Woof has been here with us just over a year we aren’t struggling for gift ideas. I made her a new bed, and a Christmas jumper, she’s got lots of squeaky toys and some “filled bones”.
She doesn’t need a kennel, we only recently bought her new food bowls, she has a new coat, 6 or 7 Kong toys and a few kilos of treats stashed away. She doesn’t need anything, but she knows all about Christmas now. She has already been caught sniff testing wrapped gifts, almost like she’s counting up how many gifts she has so far.
Whilst there are not a billion ideas here, there are some great ones like the Lily’s kitchen dog Christmas dinner. After a little browse I came across several things I liked.
Freya already has this Kong and the Elf hat. My poor pooch will be wearing it every school run this week.
When you’ve chosen a gift clicking “buy now” takes you to a shop to buy you choice. Retailers featured on PetPresentFinder.co.uk* include John Lewis, Feedem and RSPCA shop. I like that it links to some big names and websites I’ve never heard of.
If dog jumpers are your thing there were some very sweet looking ones but as Freya is a Saluki not much fits her curves – the greyhound shape and long thin legs.
What I think could be improved for next year would be having more species, such as rabbits, gold fish and hamsters.
If you need inspiration pet present finder is worth a look. Remember though, Santa Paws only visits well behaved pets, so if your pets have been bad pop to your local pet shop and buy them COAL charcoal biscuits.
Disclosure : More Th>n are pretending to be Santa Paws and are sending Freya Woof some toys in return for this app review post.
