Disclosure, Cookies and Advertising
When I label a post as “Sponsored Post” this means that I was in some way paid or compensated. I still write my real opinions on those posts, and if the words are not my own these are marked as such, normally by the use of the Quotes box or the “written by…” category. When I label it as “affiliate” then it means I am hoping to earn a referral commission, pricing of products/services on those sites is not decided by Julie’s notebook. If you see an asterix* next to a link it means it is an affiliate or paid link for example *Julie’s Notebook and is the same as above. As Julie’s notebook uses Skimlinks any link might be affiliated.
I can accept review items, this means I am offered a product, or service in return for writing my opinions. I remain honest, regardless of the item being given to me, and all my opinions written down on this blog will be honest. These posts are also clearly marked, usually at the end of my post, for example “Disclosure : this product was kindly provided by xyz Ltd, but my opinions are honest and unbiased.”
Sometimes I use images like these to convey that the post contains a form of advertising.
