Beverly Hills Formula Toothpaste Review 3

I have been asked to review Beverly Hills Formula Perfect White toothpaste in standard and sensitive. I was pleased to get an email offering me samples of this as I’m a coffee addict and have sensitive teeth. I’m the perfect guinea pig for this actually. Then it dawned on me – how on earth do I photograph me brushing my own teeth? Why would anyone want to see my teeth? Here is an unflattering action shot of my teeth. The sensitive version is white opaque with blue dots, and the standard is translucent pale blue with blue dots. They both taste ok. Often specialist toothpastes that claim to do more than one thing taste awful in my opinion. What can I say, I’m fussy. But Beverly Hills Formula passes my taste test. I have only been using this a few days, and its only flipping working! Having tried many “sensitive […]

Kelo-Cote Scar Treatment

At BritMums I met the Kelo-cote team, and they gave me a little sample. I then lost that, and they kindly offered me a second sample. Thanks guys! Kelo-cote gel is a skin repairing silicone gel. You dab it (not rub) over scars to reduce redness and the texture of scars. I tried it on several scars, I scar very easily so was spoilt for choice. This costs £29.99 for a 15 gram tube, or £89.99 for 60 grams. Yes I know that’s expensive, but it’s cheap if your scars upset your daily life. Before photos.

Review of Dr.Beckmann laundry products

Recently Dr.Beckmann were kind enough to send me a few products to try. Dr.Beckmann Colour & Dirt Collector First of the products I tried was the washing sheets. These catch colours that end up in the water so it doesn’t soak in to other items. I was a bit sceptical of these and have seen them for sale in shops before. The thing is we have many items we wash separately as they are multi coloured and don’t match pale or dark laundry loads, such as our rugby shirts. These are navy blue, bright red and white cotton. A colour run nightmare waiting to happen. I mixed these items all in one load…. Pale, bright vivid colour and black! I would never mix these colours normally. Action…. Blurry action… Very pleased to say my Elmo pj top didn’t get ruined! And final photo to show you some used sheets versus […]

Bionsen deodorant range, a review 1

I was recently sent these two products to try out. For me it was great, I have the roll on and a pump spray. I much prefer sprays, so used this one more than the roll on. The roll on is a nice handbag size, compact. Also nice that the spray wasn’t an aerosol. Both smelt nice, reminded me of a plain white soap my grandmother used to use, that crossed with baby powder. I’m not great at describing scents, but it’s subtle, nice and all I can say is it smells “clean”. According to Bionsen it contains a unique blend of Japanese spa minerals. “Onsen” is what these spa minerals are known as, hence the name. It’s is not an anti perspirant, meaning it allows you to sweat still, but not loads. This way your body can still cool you. It’s a gentle sort of deodorant, it has a […]
