Recently I tried out Footner. Its a product I had never heard of that is meant to remove hard skin from your feet. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and it is a weird looking item for sure. They are a sort of plastic trainer-sock shape, with a lining soaked in a strong smelling liquid/gel. The smell isn’t bad but it is a bit chemically.
Today I’ve been sorting old hand bags out. I had *cough* 6 fully loaded but abandoned hand bags. Some haven’t been touched for a year, I know this because they had “work” paperwork in. Most of them had complete make up in, foundation, pressed powder, lipsticks and glosses, eye shadow and more. Sadly some of this was out of date and some was dried up. Amongst all the old make up I had a few nice compacts. My favourite was a big Boots No.7 Christmas gift set. I loved this, until the eye shadow smashed in my bag about a year and a half ago. I threw it in the cupboard black hole and forgot all about it.
I decided I wanted funky nails, but find false nails uncomfortable. After a lot of gardening recently my nails were a bit of a state. They needed hiding. So I was in Poundland having a nosey at the make up. They often have some top brands in little plastic packages that hang on those metal stock spikes. I rummaged through…. Some Rimmel, Max factor, Sally H, Opi and some W7. I had seen W7 crackle polish before in other shops but had been put off by the price at around a fiver a bottle. Sometimes you are really lucky in Poundland and you’ll get two branded make up items per pack, and I did indeed get a steal of a bargain, a bright red and a deep purpley red crackle polish in one package. Thats 50p each! Deal, sold.
I have been trying out E45 the last couple of weeks, and I must say it is not bad. I have problem skin and have used the standard E45 before. But this is a new version with a deep red lid, and I much prefer it. It is called Nourish & Protect, and it has been great on my legs. The bottle states great for Mature skin, does this make me officially old now? I’ve been using it daily, well if I remembered to that is! It really worked for me, I didn’t think it would to be honest. As I type I am sunburnt after a day in the garden so I’ve slapped the E45 on my shoulders and arms and I’m pretty confident I won’t peel. It smells ok too, not over powering.
