As promised, some better photos of my new chickens. Edwina is a cuckoo dorking and Anneka is a black coaching. Tikka is just a normal chicken, sorry Tikka.

They look like they are adjusting well. You just have to keep Frida away from them. 🙂
Freya you mean? Every time I’ve been in the garden since the incident I key lock the door – poor dog cries and scratches but I have to now she’s learnt to do the door handles. I had the first egg from the new birds today, its very small but its a good sign they are settling in ok.
That is good news. Ops on putting the dog’s name down wrong.
Poor puppy just wants to play with the chickens. Of course, she doesn’t realize that she will hurt them and that they don’t want to play with her.
She wasnt playing, when she plays she shakes. But with the chicken incident there was no playing, shaking the hen, or teasing. She didn’t even wag her tail – she meant to kill and eat her. But I can’t hold it against her, she had to kill to survive as a stray.
They are good eggs them chickens
*boom boom* 😉
