Sniff sniff
This photo: I just love it. Glorious sunshine and I caught Freya sniffing flowers. She often smells the flowers when she’s in the garden at night time, which I’ve not managed to photograph.
Its so cute, but a little bit daft as she gets the sneezes! You would think she would learn not to do it?!
What a cool dog. Is she a long haired grey hound? Haha, aww. She’s taking time to smell the roses.
She is a Saluki. Its similar to greyhound in shape, but not the same. Saluki’s are desert hunting dogs from Arab countries, very intelligent, fast, and act “aloof” most of the time. 🙂
Oh, how sweet, smelling the flowers. And I love that they make her sneeze, that made me smile, I have a lovely image in my head 🙂
Very cute photo. I never would have known dogs sniff flowers (or is it just Freya?!).
I’ve had lots of dogs over the years but none of them cared about flowers. Freya doesn’t sniff at ground level like other dogs, she checks everything out. Her big nose goes straight to the blooms, or fruit on bushes. She is “an inquisitive child” really.
The thing that leaps out to me about this picture are all the bright colours. Fantastic.

Lovely dog! This reminded me when our jack russell sniffed some irish cream and had a severe case of the sneezes. She has learnt not to do this now though!
Freya hasn’t learnt, I think she knows she might sneeze but doesn’t care. She checks out the neighbours flowers too if they are near enough the path to reach.
