My other half has been told he has to go to Canada for a week by work. They are paying hotel, flights and reasonable expenses.
In the 11 years we’ve been together we’ve never been apart overnight for more than 2 nights. The times he’s gone I’ve been like a love sick teenager, unable to sleep until almost daylight when exhaustion sets in.
How on earth will I cope with both boys and Me, no Hubby. He’s my sanity, my “rock”, my best friend, the only one who truly understands me, my cook, my alarm call ….. he does so much for me. I can’t see the end of this month going well for me.
You will be fine – I have just had to cope with 6 weeks of hubby being away (5 in Kent and one in the states) and it was tough but we managed.
It was actually quite refreshing being able to watch what I wanted in the TV and being able to go to bed when I wanted. The worst bit was getting the kids to bed as they always play up!
You will miss him, but it’ll make his homecoming even sweeter xx
