B-Sensible Sheets Review and Competition (Ended) 121

As I’ve mentioned Jen is bed wetting at the moment. He’s four and a half, nearly five now so hopefully this stage will be over soon. I was using plastic sheets until recently. Jen had a meltdown about the crinkly crunchy noise it makes. He refused to go to his bed, sleeping on the floor. When he wet himself sleeping on my sheepskin rug on my bedroom floor that was the final straw! Worse than a wet dog smell. The lovely B-Sensible folks* have sent me a single fitted sheet to review. These sheets are meant to be comfortable, breathable yet still waterproof, and silent in use. We will see!If you did want to buy one of these sheets after reading my blog you can buy them at Luxury bedding products. To win one you will see the competition at the end of this post. COMPETITION ENDED.When I took the sheet […]

Personalised Reward Charts, A review 2

After deciding I was playing strict with the boys recently, I found out about a lovely reward chart site, called Personalised Reward Charts. There were a few different background designs but I went with the Pirate one, and had a photo of both boys put on it. It’s well laminated and came with a dry wipe pen and some star stickers. You can have the days of the week pre printed on it too, but I preferred not to then we can start mid week if we like. The charts are a very reasonable £3, and mine arrived in just a few days. There are lots of designs, football, cartoon dinosaurs, the pirates one we chose and girlie ones such as butterflies and princesses.I wrote down the tasks I’m hoping he does more often, and as the bribery I have offered him a Lightening McQueen model car he really wants. The […]

Review of Dr.Beckmann laundry products

Recently Dr.Beckmann were kind enough to send me a few products to try. Dr.Beckmann Colour & Dirt Collector First of the products I tried was the washing sheets. These catch colours that end up in the water so it doesn’t soak in to other items. I was a bit sceptical of these and have seen them for sale in shops before. The thing is we have many items we wash separately as they are multi coloured and don’t match pale or dark laundry loads, such as our rugby shirts. These are navy blue, bright red and white cotton. A colour run nightmare waiting to happen. I mixed these items all in one load…. Pale, bright vivid colour and black! I would never mix these colours normally. Action…. Blurry action… Very pleased to say my Elmo pj top didn’t get ruined! And final photo to show you some used sheets versus […]

Review: Your Image 2 Canvas 3

I was very happy to be contacted and asked if I would review a photo on canvas company. Brilliant timing as I was considering buying some canvas prints of my boys as I haven’t printed anything for such a long time. The downside to digital media. When I checked out the YourImage2Canvas.co.uk website I was pleasantly surprised by the prices, not only were many of the canvases reduced but they also had a 3 for 2 offer on.This meant I got a Medium and 2 smaller canvases for under £50 which is amazing. The 3 for 2 finished on 15th of February I’m afraid. re is another cracking offer on their website though, I know a lot of my online friends like competitions too so have a peek here upload a favourite photo for a chance to win £150 of vouchers! I did enter myself whilst I was there with a […]

Bionsen deodorant range, a review 1

I was recently sent these two products to try out. For me it was great, I have the roll on and a pump spray. I much prefer sprays, so used this one more than the roll on. The roll on is a nice handbag size, compact. Also nice that the spray wasn’t an aerosol. Both smelt nice, reminded me of a plain white soap my grandmother used to use, that crossed with baby powder. I’m not great at describing scents, but it’s subtle, nice and all I can say is it smells “clean”. According to Bionsen it contains a unique blend of Japanese spa minerals. “Onsen” is what these spa minerals are known as, hence the name. It’s is not an anti perspirant, meaning it allows you to sweat still, but not loads. This way your body can still cool you. It’s a gentle sort of deodorant, it has a […]

ClaireaBella classic review for ToxicFox

Hello readers, This week in the post I received a beautiful ClaireaBella bag from ToxicFox.co.uk It is a jute  mini-shopper bag, that has some kind of coating making it feel stronger but you can hardly see it at first. It has a delightful blonde girl painted on to the front, with glitter in the paint of her dress and hair. I like the little details, like the adorable little metal heart that says “HAND MADE WITH LOVE”. Also love the pink bows, normally I’m not a girlie girl, but this is pretty darn cute. The ClaireaBella bags are famous for being personalised, this one is not as it is for review purposes. I would love to get one of these as a pressie, and my first thought was I know loads of young ladies that will want to pinch this from me! I love it!! The only downside I see is […]

Dairylea, who wants some for free?

Have you had Dairylea lately? We were given the chance to try Dairylea for free recently by bzzagent, and thought I could blog it. My son Jenny likes cheese spread, we normally have the shop own brand ones, but avoiding the really low end ones. Jenny was delighted to see the branded version in our fridge. He chooses it over real cheese, and I don’t mind as its great for lunch boxes. I have noticed the Dairylea tubs also have a Try Me Free offer. You need to keep the receipt (maybe buy it on a seperate receipt) and post off. Full details are on the link above. #imabzzagent
