As some of the regular readers will have read, I want to shift some weight trying to get ready for that skydive! Have you heard of Zaggora hot pants? These hot pants are a brilliant idea, and Zaggora sell a range of other clothing to help you exercise better. The idea is it makes certain areas of your body hotter than normal, so if you are wearing them it means your bum and thighs do “more work” and waste more calories, so hopefully lose weight from the problem areas first. Firstly, I know it is only May but it is time to get thinking about Father’s Day. It will be upon us before we know it. The best plan, as with Mother’s day and Birthdays is to buy early and avoid having to buy a petrol station greetings card and a bunch of scruffy flowers. I often forget important days, which is where the calendar app in my Android is so helpful. This year I am informed it falls on Sunday 16th of June. So stick it in your diaries ladies and jellybeans. E45 Review 2

I have been trying out E45 the last couple of weeks, and I must say it is not bad. I have problem skin and have used the standard E45 before. But this is a new version with a deep red lid, and I much prefer it. It is called Nourish & Protect, and it has been great on my legs. The bottle states great for Mature skin, does this make me officially old now?  I’ve been using it daily, well if I remembered to that is! It really worked for me, I didn’t think it would to be honest. As I type I am sunburnt after a day in the garden so I’ve slapped the E45 on my shoulders and arms and I’m pretty confident I won’t peel. It smells ok too, not over powering. When we moved in to out house several years ago it had a patio the previous owners had installed themselves, which we were not very taken with. It looks ok, but it goes a nasty, dirty, mossy green and has no style. It’s so last century, and not in a good way! I want decking instead.   Ok, you’re looking at the first photo thinking that’s not so bad aren’t you? You’d be wrong I’m afraid, so were we as that is what we said when viewing the house. Well it’s birthday season in mine and my partners families. Most of the birthdays fall between April and July! So not a bad time to discover Baker Days really. They send cute personalised cakes through the post, and it was just the right size to fit through the letter box. I was actually having a lie in when the corrugated cardboard box hit my hallway floor with a thump, but the content was unharmed. 10 out of 10 there, you can buy a cake as a surprise and not have to ask the recipient to stay in and look out for the postie. I choose chocolate cake as you might expect I would, with a lovely pattern and some butterflies and roses. Pet footprints! As regular readers to MRB know, I can’t live without my pets. I adore animals, my ideal job would be working with an animal rescue group. I’m scared of dogs, although I think that could get better over time. The amazing things owners do for their pets… On the Huff Post it has a cute slideshow showing a few lovely reunions and tender pet moments. John and his dog Schoep went viral on ‘tinternet following the article here Huffington post story with photos. A short while later an update is posted on Huff Post, explaining the dog got so much support from this, it saved his life as his distraught owner was considering having him put down to end the pain. When I was a kid, TVs were very basic, a few buttons or tuning knobs. It was on-off, channel and volume. No record, save, rewind, pause, I understood the new bits like rewind and fast forwards when they first came in, and it was great. I think now though it has got to a point where TVs are a bit too flipping SMART! It’s like the TV is secretly laughing at me, as I am one of the many parents who get their children to do the set up bits on the goggle box. Screen shot from Tesco.com A Which? report has revealed that many consumers are confused and annoyed that supermarkets use labels and packaging that is similar to well-known brands. Well maybe I’m unusual, but I like that they look the same. I’m a mum on a tight budget and when Jen goes on about “Dr Pepper” which is often nearly £2 I can say “yes, ok you an have a treat” and pick up the copy cat Dr Pop one at around 70p. I can see its not the same product, the printed labels aren’t identical so I do not feel its confusing, from my point of view its I can buy something that looks very similar, tastes the same but is less than half the price. Yesterday I found out about a site called Stuffster.com from a twitter buddy, I thought to myself “That’s an odd name” and then looked into what the site was about. I headed first to the Twitter Stuffster page, and then had a peek about the main website.  Stuffster in a pictorial nutshell.. Its a shopping tool, a bit like a funky hybrid of an auction sites watch list system and a comparison site and an Internet wish-list. You add products, from almost any site to your Stufflists, and set a desired price. Zoflora have seen me a bottle of their Spring Time fragranced concentrated disinfectant 3 in 1 action.This comes in a small carton with a little bottle in, the thing is you make up the solution with water yourself at home, so this little bottle makes nearly 5 litres of cleaning fluid, its much easier to carry a small package home than a few litres of ready mixed cleaners. A little while ago bzzagent sent me some Vanish oxi-action to try out. I figure I should have posted photos ages ago, I’ve been using it on anything awkward before going in the washing machine or just bunging as scoop in the soap draw. I’ve found it not only shifts or helps lessen the appearance of visible stains, but fades smells lingering in fabrics better than washing powder does. For example towels I’ve used to dry the pets after a wash often smell horrid despite a wash. The staining. Fresh home made Tikka masala. This has ruined my boys clothing in the past.
