It seems the posts where I share local street art are popular, so here is a large bit of street art by “TRIX”. Although I have no idea who they are, I see this name on art about town. I have photographed this to remember it, in case it get removed. I adore graffiti work like this, it must have taken so many hours, and I can tell you it took weeks and months to appear there.

So many people walk past this, some even mutter its a mess. It is amazing, and I suspect it will be binned one the building site behind these boards has been made into houses. Such a great shame.
Street art done well definitely brightens up the place.
I think there should be areas within towns or cities where people who can properly ‘do’ graffi (I.e not their name or a crude word in bad dripping paint) where it is admired and incorporated as art. As you said some of the graffiti is amazing (although I did think the doctor picture was of Willy Wonker the original guy not Jonny Depp can’t remember the original guys name – that’s going to bug me all day!!)
