Well I’ve today seen a challenging competition on Jade & Tara’s blog that I had to have a go at entering. I’ve not had the best relationship with my Mother, but I am trying to be her friend again, and I’m sure she’d be chuffed if I won Next clothing for her. The challenge is to make a complete outfit just from products for sale at Next. Here is what I’d suggest for my Mum on Mothers day. Images from Next website       I would pick a nice lace dress for my Mum, she suits maxi dresses best I think. Also this one goes into larger sizes and like me, my Mum isn’t tiny. Well it is again that time of year, When everybody should be of great cheer.Not everyone is happy though as it’s cold and wet outside,A lot of us just want to snuggle up and hide. But not those dear Elves,To get the must-have toys on the shops shelves,They have been working every day and night Alas the prices still give Mum’s and Dad’s a fright! An elf must be short and wear bright green,And never ever be mean.For they make the toys,For all our little girls and boys. I just read a blog post on BritMums asking parent bloggers to say what our children do or would do, with pocket money. So here is my entry for the BritMums and pktmny blog challenge linky.For D it’s always the same, his pocket money goes into his bank via standing order each week and he saves until he’s reached his goal. The main thing he saves up for is Lego. D is obsessed with Lego, but only likes certain ranges….the lad knows what he wants! Normally when he’s just short of the RRP of the model he wants we have to check in local shops,  then Google to make sure it’s a good deal. Christmas wish list for my Pets

I saw via Twitter a blogger challenge to create a dream stocking of £200 for your pets. The main rule is any items from the site, but not more than £200, I’ve managed to get just pence under that target. This is an old post, and I have removed all the links now, but I don’t want to totally lose this post as it contains a photo I don’t want gone forever.  The details are here on GJW Titmuss website. I know I’m slow, but I have just heard about the Postcards From Santa Competition. I saw it this evening on Twitter thanks to Tired Mummy of two. Mentioned it to D and he was straight to the kitchen table with his brothers pencil draw. D is more of a thinker, whereas little brother is the creative artist type. Jen saw D doing his Santa postcard, and had to join in. Sadly we were in a rush and I didn’t get an action shot of my lads colouring in, BUT I have scanned in the drawings, no mean feat this as we’d lost/misplaced the printer cable! Either that or Santa’s Elves had been asked to make it a challenge! They went to bed at 8.30 and I’ve Just got the pictures onto my laptop. Good afternoon folks, My son has entered the Content and Calm travel bug competition on facebook to try to win us a holiday to Greece, sadly it is a voting competition and he would love any votes please. If you go into that app then look at “gallery” you should be able to find our entry. The competition is to be a “travel bug reporter” which means if he gets first place we will go to Greece together for him to review, or if he’s one of the 9 runners up we would get sent on a family outing to somewhere like Legoland or Cattle Country. We sat outdoors and talked about our camping holidays, as shivering outside seems appropriate for a camping review! I am trying to win Amazon vouchers to win a Bike trailer to make getting to school and work a bit easier. Concentration His food picture Ok, its messy, Jen is only 3.
